Welcome!

Welcome to Tardis Point News. This blog is no longer running, as I started watching Parks and Recreation and am still mourning over the cancellation of Eureka. Don't stop watching Doctor Who though, which is and always will be the best TV show ever.

Photo's From Filming (and 300th Post)

John Barrowman, Jimmy Vee as Graske, a Slitheen, Monks, a Mysterious woman, which I think could be the Rani, 2 mysterious people, one completely white and one completely red, the CGI crew so maybe there will be CGI aliens, and Russell Tovey, who played Midshipman Frame from 2007's Voyage of the Damned. Filming took place in Cardiff. You can see them from the filming photo's, from Scooty's Photobucket, here and Alun vega's Flickr, here. Earlier, filming also took place at Caerphily Castle. Danny Hargreaves was there with a green screen.. you can see some of the castle pictures here, on ahremsee's Photobucket. Next, before that, Christmas decorations went up at The Hayes and the surrounding streets, and some filming in Penarth at the same time. It looks as though the Henriks store will return with a "Christmas @ Henriks" sign. If you don't remember, Henriks was the store that Rose worked in before she met the Doctor. You can see a few of the photo's below, and there are many more from the links. Many thanks to Scooty, Alun Vega and ahremsee for them.

plea- oh, and i'll try to post more filming pictures regularly..

It also occured to me about 20 minutes after i posted this, that this is my 300th post for Whoviavortex! Hooray to this site, ect ect. Party time..

John Barrowman, Digital Spy Interview

John Barrowman, who plays Jack Harkness, was interviewed by Dan French, from Digital Spy. The interview reveales some key parts of Children of Earth. You can read some below;

What can you tell us about the third series of Torchwood?

"I can tell you that Jack and the team find themselves in a completely different environment to what they're used to. Jack's past comes back to haunt him and the present team. It all sort of backfires on him and he has to clean up the mess that he and the government make."

What do you make of the new format?

"It's a series of five episodes spread over a week. Personally, if it comes back for series four, I'd like to do more episodes. But we had to do something that created an impact when we moved to BBC One. It's like we're always under a test and I wish at some point they'd go 'you're fine! Stay where you are!' and that's what I'm looking forward to. But again, it depends on the audience."

Can we expect to see you back in Doctor Who to bid farewell to David Tennant?

"Jack will always return to the Tardis if the Doctor's in need – to help save the planet or conquer an alien race trying to invade. That's all I can say! You know how secretive we are about all of that. Personally, as John, I would love to go back. If I'm asked, I'll be there in a second."

You can read the whole interview here.

Torchwood: Children of Earth will air over 1 week, later this year.
