I Am What I Am, By John Barrowman

John Barrowman has announced that he and his sister, Carole E Barrowman will be writing his 2nd autobiography, entitled I Am What I Am after the sucess of his 1st, Anything Goes. It will be published by Michael O’Mara Books, due to be released on the 1st September as a hardback.

DK Publishing have released some information and the cover for their second Doctor Who: The Visual Dictionary.

New Time Squad Ships

The Time Squad miniature figure range by Character Options, have now added 3 new ships to the collection. They are Captain Jacks Chula Ship, Slitheen Space Cruiser and The Pentallion. Each will come with a randomly selected time squad figure from the current range of 15, and will cost £9.99, when they are released in May.

Planet of the Dead Synopsis and Airdate

The official press-release for the next Doctor Who adventure, Planet of the Dead have been released. The episode will be on the 11th of April on BBC1 and BBC HD, and you can read the synopsis below;

When a London bus takes a detour to an alien world, the Doctor must join forces with the extraordinary Lady Christina, in this one-off seasonal special. But the mysterious planet holds terrifying secrets, hidden in the sand. And time is running out, as the deadly Swarm gets closer.

Planet Of The Dead features David Tennant as the Doctor, Michelle Ryan as Lady Christina and Lee Evans as Malcolm. It is written by Russell T Davies and Gareth Roberts.

Doctor Who Nominated For Hugo

This year's Hugo awards reveal that Steven Moffat's 2-parter, Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead have been nominated for 'Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form' award along with Russell T Davies' Turn Left. They are against the Battlestar Galactica episode "Revelations", "Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog", and the episode "The Constant" from Lost.

Doctor Who Nominated for BAFTA

In the 2009 BAFTA Awards, Doctor Who has been nominated for Best Drama Series against Shameless, Spooks and Wallander. You can read more about the British Academy Of Film And Television Arts right here. The ceremony will take place on the 26th April in The Royal Festival Hall.

Alien Talent Search Competition

A new Alien Talent Search competition has opened from the Doctor Who official site. If you know (or are) and adult with exceptional alien acting skills (who can also think of a name, a background story and design a costume) then this is the competition for you! Man, I sound just like one of those annoying adverts don't I? The winner will play a part in an exclusivly written scene and will be on "Tonight's The Night" in April or May. Planet of the Dead Promotional Pictures

Many new promotional pictures for the next Doctor Who episode, Planet of the Dead has been released. You can see the pictures below. They reveal that Lee Evans will play a UNIT scientist, the Tritovore, new characters and much much more.




These are the first full glimpses of the Tritovore, and.. well, what do you think?

The 4th Tennant Tape is now available from the official site. It's almost 2 minutes and 50 seconds and...
David keeps his cool in freezing conditions to talk with Michelle Ryan, James Strong and Sarah Davies about wire work, broken buses and killer cats.

K9 New Promotional Picture

A new promotional picture has been uploaded onto the co-creator, Bob Baker's website. It features the main characters; Starkey, Jorjie, Darius and K9. You can see the picture below and you can visit Bob Baker's website here, with lots of inforation about the series. There will be a villain called the Jixen Warriors and will be set in the future. There will be a reference to the past of Doctor Who every episode and you can read more about the stories on the site. An ealier picture of K9 was released and can also be seen below.

SJA Special Promtional Pictures and Trailer!

An unmissable trailer for The Sarah Jane Adventures Red Nose Day Special has been uploaded on the official site which can be seen here! Ronnie Corbett lock on to the Attic..

Also 3 promotional pictures have been released. They can be seen here.

The special will be part of Friday's Comic Relief and will be shown some time between 7:00 and 7:30. The usual crew will be starring with John Leeson as the voice of K9, Ronnie Corbett as an alien and Paul Kasey as a Slitheen. It is written by Gareth Roberts and Clayton Hickman.
