The Waters Of Mars Tomorrow

I'm sure you know, the next Doctor Who special, The Waters of Mars will be on BBC One and BBC HD tomorrow. Digital Spy and Den of Geek has been flooded with new images and interview for the special. First, Digital Spy released 10 images, which you can see, here, and another one here. Next, more images have been released from Den of Geek, which you can see here, it does contain some of the same images. You can read an interview with Russell T Davies and David Tennant here, again from Den of Geek.

The Waters of Mars will be on tomorrow at 7pm on BBC One and BBC HD. Doctor Who Confidential, "Is There Life On Mars?" will be on straight after at 8pm on BBC Three.

The BAFTA Kids' Vote 2009

The third annual BAFTA Kids' Vote will take place on Sunday the 29th November, and 2 Doctor Who related subjects have been nominated. The Doctor Who Official website has been nominated in the Web category and The Sarah Jane Adventures has been nominated in the TV category. Each category has 10 nominations and there are 4 separate categories; TV, Film, Games and Web. You can visit the BAFTA Kids' Vote website, here. Follow the link to vote for your favourites. Voting closes at midday on Sunday the 23rd November.

The Gift Part 1 Trailer

Part 2 of the fifth story of The Sarah Jane Adventures, series 3, Mona Lisa's Revenge was broadcast today at 4:35 on BBC One. A trailer for the next episode, The Gift, Part 1 was shown. It is the the first part of the series finale and will broadcast next Thursday on BBC One at 4:35. You can watch the trailer below:

Mona Lisa's Revenge/The Mad Woman in the Attic Ratings

BARB has released the unofficial overnight ratings for part 1 of Mona Lisa's Revenge which aired yesterday on BBC One at 4:35pm. It was watched by 1.0 million viewers, with 7.4% share of the total television audience.

The final ratings for The Mad Woman in the Attic have also been released. Part 1 was watched by 0.75 million, and party 2 was watched by 0.84 million.

The Eternity Trap Part 2 Overnight Ratings

BARB has released the unofficial overnight ratings for part 2 of The Eternity Trap which aired last Friday on BBC One at 4:35pm. It was watched by 0.8 million viewers, with 6.6% share of the total television audience.

The Waters of Mars News

A second TV trailer for the next Doctor Who special, The Waters of Mars is now being broadcast across BBC channels. It will air next Sunday on BBC One and BBC HD at 7pm. A new Doctor Who Confidential episode will air right after, at 8pm on BBC One and BBC HD, with "Is There Life On Mars?". You can read the synopsis for the Doctor Who Confidential episode below:

Behind-the-scenes look at Doctor Who. It is the beginning of the end for David Tennant's Doctor, and Confidential is on a mission to Mars to capture the strange goings on in Bowie base one. The programme goes behind the mask of the monsters as the waters rise, causing the production team all sorts of problems. There are explosions, robots and gallons of water as the Doctor meets one of his heroes and battles against his greatest ever foe - time itself.

Doctor Who will return to BBC One on Sunday 15 November for The Waters Of Mars – the second of four specials airing throughout 2009.

Starring David Tennant as The Doctor and guest starring acclaimed British actress Lindsay Duncan – best known for her roles across stage and screen (Margaret, Rome) – The Waters Of Mars is set to be one of the most scary episodes of the series to date, as a creeping infection beneath the Martian surface threatens not only the human race, but also the Doctor's most fundamental beliefs – with terrifying results.

Lindsay Duncan stars as Adelaide – the Doctor's cleverest and most strong-minded companion yet.

Neighbours, Flying Doctors and Casualty star Peter O'Brien also guest stars as Ed, Adelaide's second-in-command at the base.

The Waters Of Mars is the second of four specials which will air throughout 2009.

The Waters Of Mars is written by Russell T Davies and Phil Ford and is directed by Graeme Harper. The producer is Nikki Wilson.
