Welcome!

Welcome to Tardis Point News. This blog is no longer running, as I started watching Parks and Recreation and am still mourning over the cancellation of Eureka. Don't stop watching Doctor Who though, which is and always will be the best TV show ever.

The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith Spoilers

Digital Spy has released many photo's and news of the next Sarah Jane Adventures story, The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith, which will air on Thursday and Friday next week. You can see the images here, here, and here. Through the last link, there are a list of spoilers for the story, which you can read below:

  • 1. DT is technically in both episodes, but he doesn't appear right until the end of the first one. His opening words? "Stop this wedding now!"
  • 2. Ahh yes, the wedding. Sarah Jane is getting married! To Nigel Havers. Erm, correction: a businessman called Peter Dalton who is played by Nigel Havers.
  • 3. Yes, their relationship moves quickly - although there is a lot of use of things like "one week later".
  • 4. But that aside, there's definitely something untoward going on here. Who's to blame? Why, it's Sarah Jane's old friend The Trickster!
  • 5. When The Doctor shows up, he's quickly parted from Sarah Jane (and the TARDIS). He's got the kids to help him out, though.
  • 6. The Doctor says two of his standard catchphrases: "Allons-y" and "I'm so sorry."
  • 7. The Doctor is referred to as "the man of ice and fire" and is told that "the gate is waiting for you".
  • 8. One of the kids receives a massive shock. Literally.
  • 9. Words are nice.
  • 10. The story ends with an exchange between Sarah Jane and The Doctor that provoked tears here at DS Towers. And she has a final line that we'll all be thinking around Christmas time: "No-one's **** ***** ** ****** ***."
Sarah-Jane.tv has also uploaded a promotional picture of it from Radio Times magazine. You can see that, here.

HUGE thanks to Digital Spy and Sarah-Jane.tv.

The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith Part 1 will air next Thursday on BBC One at 4:35. Part 2 will be on the same time the next day. You can read the synopsis for the episodes through here.

The Mad Woman in the Attic Spoilers

Cameron K McEwan has posted some spoilers on Den of Geek about part 2 of the upcoming story of The Sarah Jane Adventures, The Mad Woman in the Attic, which will air this Friday at 4:35pm on BBC One. The first part will be shown on this Thursday, at the same channel and time. Major Spoilers ahead, highlight to read:
____________________________________________________________
During part two of The Mad Woman In The Attic, we get treated to a flashback featuring the Third and Fourth Doctors as played by Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker respectively. The clips shown include The Time Warrior, Planet Of The Spiders, The Hand Of Fear and The Five Doctors. Not only that but we glimpse Sarah Jane's future too with the ominous phrase, "He is returning, he is coming back" and a clip of the TARDIS materialising in the Bannerman Road attic. Towards the end of the episode there's another flash forward (not the 'Next Time' I hasten to add) where we witness The Tenth Doctor, as played by David Tennant.

Not enough nostalgia for you? Well, that little robot mutt K9 is back too - this time for good (so they say). And looks like Mr Smith is none too pleased...
