Welcome!

Welcome to Tardis Point News. This blog is no longer running, as I started watching Parks and Recreation and am still mourning over the cancellation of Eureka. Don't stop watching Doctor Who though, which is and always will be the best TV show ever.

Advent Calendar

Hi everyone! I began making the new upgraded Whoviavortex a while back, called Tardis-Point. It was on blogger, and I used a downloaded template, but.. that didn't really go so well. So just this week, I started making it on Wix, and so far, it's going great! I decided that I'm making an advent calendar, coming up to Christmas and New Years. About half of them will include sneak peaks of the new site, because I don't really have much time to make one for each day. Others will include packs of icons, quizzes, wallpapers, and more. Enjoy!

The Writer's Tale: The Final Chapter

BBC Books have release the cover and details about the second edition of The Writer's Tale, The Final Chapter, by Russell T Davies and Benjamin Cook. You can read the synopsis for the book below:

For this revised and updated edition of The Writer's Tale, Head Writer and Executive Producer Russell T Davies and journalist Benjamin Cook continue their in-depth discussion of the creative life of Doctor Who to cover the last of Russell's specials, as well as the increasingly successful Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures spin-offs. Candid and witty insights continue throughout a second year’s worth of correspondence, covering David Tennant's final episodes as the Doctor, Russell's own departure from the show, and the legacy that both leave behind as a new era of Doctor Who begins.

With over 300 pages of new material, and taking in events from the entire five years since the show’s return in 2005, The Writer's Tale: The Final Chapter is the most comprehensive - and personal - account of Doctor Who ever published.

It is published by Random House UK and BBC Books, and is due to be released on the 14th January 2010, for the RRP of £16.99. It has 768 pages.
