Doctor Who won 2 awards this year, at the BAFTA Television Craft Awards. The ceremony was hosted by Alexander Armstrong (The vioce for Mr Smith in The Sarah Jane Adventures) and took place in the Donald Gordon Theatre at the Wales Millennium Centre. The awards Doctor Who won were:
- Phillip Kloss for Editing for Midnight
- The Mill for The Visual Effects category for The Fires of Pompeii
